“Enjoy the hotel, pool, hot tub, sauna, food. Parking and walking back to the hotel, especially in winter is difficult, especially by yourself or with children. A shuttle would be a thought.”

We reached out through the properties contract information via the only way we could since there was NO staff on site and no one ever responded!!! 😡This meant no power for any kitchen items - refrigerator, stove top, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, no lights at all, NO heat and nighttime temperature was 32 degrees. “This place is really nice. My only complain is that the bathroom is so cold and there's nowhere to put anything. The cabinets don't open in the bathroom.”

“Property could use some updating but that is to be expected in up north Michigan. You come up here to experience the outdoors not to sit in a hotel room. Despite being an older hotel, everything was very clean. Everything worked as should. Pool and hot tub temperature was perfect. Breakfast was decent for a continental breakfast and consisted of your normal stuff as well as eggs, sausage and biscuits and gravy. My family and I would stay here again.”

“I had a really great stay overall at the Comfort Inn in Sault Ste. Marie. My room was clean, comfortable, and well kept, and the staff were friendly and welcoming throughout my visit. The pool area does show some wear and tear, and the jacuzzi tub had a front panel that looked a bit offset or caved in, which stood out. However, those were minor issues compared to the overall experience. Aside from that, everything was wonderful and I would absolutely stay here again.”

“It was the perfect location. We had a fun day trip to Taquamenon Falls and Whitefish Point. We also enjoyed the casino in Sault Ste Marie and even ventured over the river to Hiawatha Highlands for snowshoeing. Loved the warm fireplace and view! The bed was comfy and cozy too. ”
